Admission: We impose commitment fee (excluding 6% GST) to avoid phantom registrants.
  • RM50 for academics, industrial partner, medical specialists, MO/HO, tutor and participants with equivalent position.
  • RM20 for supporting staff, students, nurses, MA and participants with equivalent position.
Time: 8.00am to 5.00pm
Others: Meals, meeting package and certificate of participation will be provided

Seminar Outline
The seminar aims to provide a broad overview of neuroscience talks of different disciplines. The seminar will feature:
  • 2 talks from the basic neuroscience field
  • 2 talks from the applied/translational neuroscience field
  • 2 talks from the neurology field
  • 2 talks from the neurosurgery field
  • 1 talk from the neuroimaging field
  • 1 talk from the alternative medicine field

Neuroscience Research Cluster, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University Putra Malaysia has been organising the Annual Neuroscience Seminar for many years.
  • 2010 - First Annual Seminar - UPM
  • 2011 - Second Annual Seminar - UPM
  • 2012 - UMS organised the third Annual Seminar under the title “International Neuroscience Meeting” in Sabah
  • 2013 - Forth Annual Seminar in conjunction with NeuroFair 2013.
  • 2014 - Fifth Annual Seminar was organised under the title “Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Meeting” - UPM
There was no meeting in 2015 to make way for the first joint Basic Neuroscience, Paediatric Neurology and Neurology Meetings organised under the auspicious of 26th Scientific Meeting of Malaysian Society for Neurosciences in Ipoh, Perak.

This year, UPM took the initiative to organise the Sixth Annual Neuroscience Meeting in conjunction with the inaugural IBRO Global Neuroscience Advocacy Workshop. The Neuroscience Research Cluster has provided free seminar for many years. However, a nominal commitment fee will be imposed to our participants this year to prevent phantom registrants. All fees collected from registrants will be deposited into the University’s Trust Fund for Neuroscience Seminar to support a sustainable education programme for all.
